George Freedman DDS, FAACD, FACD, FADI, FADFE
Dr. George Freedman is a founder and past president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a founder of the Canadian Academy for Esthetic Dentistry.
His most recent textbook, “Contemporary Esthetic Dentistry” is published by Elsevier and he is Visiting Professor, Universita di Firenze, Florence Italy.
Dr Freedman was recently awarded the Irwin Smigel Prize in Aesthetic Dentistry presented by NYU College of Dentistry.
He is a past director of CE programs in Esthetic Dentistry at the Universities of California at San Francisco, Florida, SUNY Buffalo, UMKC, Minnesota, Baylor College and Case Western Reserve, Tufts, Eastman Dental Center (Rochester and London), Catholic University in Seoul, South Korea and was the founding Associate Director of the Esthetic Dentistry Education Center at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. Freedman is the author or co-author of 12 textbooks, more than 700 dental articles, and numerous webinars, CDs, videos and audios and is a Team Member of REALITY. He has been listed as one of the leaders in Continuing Education by Dentistry Today every year since 1997. Dr Freedman is the Materials Editor for Dentistry Today, Editor in Chief for Dental Tribune International, and is on the Editorial Board of Oral Health and Dental Asia.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry, he lectures internationally on dental esthetics, adhesion, desensitization, composites, impression materials and porcelain veneers and has been a featured / keynote speaker at many major national and international dental conferences.
Dr. Freedman maintains a private practice limited to Esthetic Dentistry in Toronto, Canada.
Douglas L. Lambert
Douglas L. Lambert graduated from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management in 1980 and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1984. He is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the Academy for Sports Dentistry, the American Society for Dental Aesthetics, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Lambert has held many societal positions in organized dentistry including Past President of the Minneapolis District Dental Society, six years as a Trustee to the Minnesota Dental Association, and a delegate to the ADA. He has been honored as a Top Dentist by both Minneapolis/St. Paul and Minnesota Monthly magazines each year in the past decade. Dr. Lambert has authored several articles on cosmetic and aesthetic topics, and has presented numerous lectures and hands-on seminars nationally and internationally for dental organizations, universities, and study clubs, and is part of the education team for the Post-Graduate Course in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and the Catapult Group.
He also serves as an independent consultant and clinical researcher for many dental manufacturers, and as the team dentist for the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA. Dr. Lambert is senior partner in an aesthetic-based practice in Edina, Minnesota emphasizing cosmetic, comprehensive, and sports dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing with his family at their cabin in Wisconsin, and playing a little golf.
Daniel Ward
Dr. Daniel H. Ward was an Assistant Clinical Professor at The Ohio State University for 13 years and has been in private practice in Columbus, Ohio for 32 years. He lectured at the Post-Graduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota, SUNY Buffalo, UMKC, and the University of Florida and served as chief examiner. He is a fellow in the American College of Dentists, fellow of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics, fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, a Diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry, and a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ward has published articles in the Journal of Prosthodontics, Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, Dental Clinics of North America, Compendium, Collaborative, Dentistry Today, Inside Dentistry, Oral Health, and Contemporary Esthetics and Restorative Practice. He authored the “Test Yourself” columns published in Esthetic Dentistry Update. Dr. Ward has published about smile design, posterior composites, dental materials and digital dental photography. He is an product evaluator for the Catapult Group and has developed a computerized method of smile design called the RED Proportion. An innovative pioneer, Dr Ward combines theory with practical real world experience.
Dr. Ward has lectured throughout the world. He was invited to present to the annual meetings of the Academy of General Dentistry, The Chicago Midwinter, Yankee Meeting, the Greater New York Dental Meeting, the California Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the American Society for Dental Aesthetics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Aesthetic Congress in Istanbul, Turkey, and the UNAM International Congress in Mexico City. He has lectured in India, Poland, Korea, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and numerous dental societies and associations.
